For my University honours project, I wanted to do something that encapsulated my skills and ideals in Graphic Design. This involved making something that would demonstrate my ability to utilise and combine multiple creative disciplines.

My initial idea involved creating a Duolingo and Skillshare style application, that would act as a learning app, social platform, and incentive/tracker for multi-discipline creative learning. My initial developments revolved around an octopus mascot, and oceanic theme. I also worked extensively with Iconography to create a suite of icons for various creative disciplines and principles

The Final Development

The initial idea for the OctiSkill development was to make a mock app for mobile and desktop, which would demonstrate the usage, UI, and assets of the OctiSkill branding. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time alongside other obligations at the time, so I reworked the assets already made for the app into information cards and an introduction booklet.
